Piñon-Juniper distribution mapping in New Mexico

Research Interests:

  1. Geographic Information Science (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS)
  2. Biogeography with a focus on Southwestern plant communities
  3. Subpixel analysis techniques including: Spectral Mixture Anlaysis (SMA) and Multiple Endmember Spectral Mixture Analysis (MESMA)
  4. Spatial Analysis and Modeling
  5. The application of GIS and RS to land conservation and management
